Schulkinder helfen Schulkindern

students help students

The school project of Max-Planck-Highschool in Bad Krozingen.
After the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010, dedicated teachers from Max-Planck-Realschule in Bad Krozingen set out to find the best way to help. They wanted to support a local aid organization that could guarantee that donations would truly reach the people in need. This partner was found in the Haitihilfe Heinz Kühn e.V.; Our shared goal of ensuring education for all connects us in a special way. We are now even anchored in the school's statutes!

Every summer, the school organizes a sponsored run; in this event, students find sponsors in advance who agree to pay a previously agreed amount for each lap run around the building.
In the past, more than 20,000 euros have been raised for Haitihilfe Heinz Kühn! A big thank you at this point!

In 2015, Mrs. Jestaedt was able to accompany us on our annual distribution of school fees in Haiti and see with her own eyes the children's need.
For us - as a small NGO - this form of support is a huge help; we are more than grateful for the commitment of students and teachers.
