The school project of Max Planck Middle school in Bad Krozingen

After the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010 some committed teachers of the Max-Planck-Middleschool in Bad Krozingen/Germany were investigating how they could help in the best way. They were looking for a charity which is rooted locally as well as could guarantee that the money arrives to the people in need.
They found their partner in us, the Haitihilfe Heinz Kühn e.V. Our common goal, to provide education for everyone, ties us together in a special way. Meanwhile we’re even anchored within the school constitution!

Every year in summer the school organises a charity run; The students are looking for sponsors who reward every lap they run around the school building with a contribution.
In the past in some years the students managed to collect over 20.000 Euro! Many thanks from our side!
In 2015 the teacher Mrs. Jestaedt could join us on our annual trip where we paid the school money. She saw our work with her own eyes and could convince herself of the needs of the children. Here's a small documentation of the journey
For us - as a small charity - this form of regular support is a massive help; we’re more than thankful for the continuous support of students, parents and teachers.
